Luke Dorrington is a dynamic Media Sales Leader with 13 years’ experience across Broadcast TV, Digital, and Connected TV.
His career is defined by his ability to scale businesses at every stage of their lifecycle.
During his tenure at the Nine Network in Sydney, Luke worked in National Agency Sales, managing multi-million-dollar campaigns for Tier-1 clients like McDonald’s, Apple, and PepsiCo. He learned exactly how the world’s biggest brands use TV to maintain dominance.
He then moved to Seven West Media, where he rapidly ascended through the ranks. As a Senior Sales Representative for Seven Central Queensland, he achieved 17 consecutive months over budget, helping SMBs harness the power of TV advertising which saw him win the Seven Networks Highest Individual Over Budget award. This success led to his first promotion to Deputy Sales Manager at Seven Toowoomba.
In 2018, he was promoted again and deployed to Seven Sydney as Network Business Development Executive where he introduce medium-sized businesses to the power of TV and Streaming Advertising, launching challenger brands like Halo Top Ice Cream, The Wing Tip and Patch Strips.
Most recently, as Station Manager for Channel 7 Rockhampton and Gladstone (2018–2023), he led the commercial strategy for two markets, delivering 96%+ of annual budget for 5 consecutive years and maintaining a 65% market revenue share.
In January 2024, Luke Dorrington founded Dorrington Media, Australia’s first Managed Streaming Activation Platform dedicated to SMBs to answer one question: Why can’t local businesses have the same buying power as a national brand?
